The main thing you can do with Hotshots is take screenshots. The application will capture the entire screen, all screens (if you have a multi-monitor setup), the active window, a region, or a freehand region of the screen. Once you have the image, you can annotate it, edit it, save it locally, or upload it to the web.

A simple setup wizard will help you quickly install Hotshots on your PC. Of course, to get to the setup wizard part you must first download an installer and then you must run it. A few clicks through the aforementioned setup wizard and you’ll have Hotshots up and running on your PC.

Take a screenshot and it will be presented in the main panel on the application’s interface. At the top there’s a toolbar with buttons for various functions Hotshots can perform. At the bottom there’s a panel that lists the parameters based on which Hotshots will take the screenshot.

There are three ways to take a screenshot. You can click the large icon located in the bottom left hand corner of the application’s interface. You can click one of the buttons from the toolbar located at the top of the application’s interface. Or you could enable hotkeys and use them to take a screenshot.
Hotshots can take several types of screenshots: current screen, all screens, window, region, freehand region.
Once you have your screenshot, you can save it locally, you can edit it (Hotshots has basic editing functionality to offer; add text, lines, arrows, highlight items, and more), and you can upload it to the web.

Hotshots is a very nice tool you can use to take, edit, and upload screenshots.
